PREVIEW March 2013 Jodi Sta Maria

Look at that lady, she doesn't age, she doesn't even look like a mom. I don't buy magazines anymore because I think it's just a waste of money, everything in magazines can be seen in web or blogs right now. But this Preview March 2013 issue with Jodi Sta. Maria on the cover is an exception. I would definitely buy this one, not because I'm an avid fan of her, but I just admire her personality. She looks so pretty and classy, which is really true in real life. But her swimsuit, hat, and backdrop which are all bold black & white stripes made a very big impact to me. I'm in love with the cover! This season it became a trend illustrated well by the Marc Jacobs Spring runway. I can say, this coming seasons are a little back to basics. Even Zara carried some stripes on their current collection.

She's now a cover girl of my favorite local fashion magazine. Is this her first Preview cover? Not sure with that, but I think so. She really deserved this shot. Her show "Be Careful with my Heart" is phenomenal. If you didn't know Maya and Sir Chief love team then you're missing a lot.

FEATURED

While walking home last Thursday, I checked my BlackBerry for any updates. Then there was a red button in Facebook, so I checked the notifications and someone tagged me on a photo with a caption "Nuks! You're in Preview FB page". At the back of my mind I said "Omg, why I am in there?" but I'm really surprised and excited. I know it's a good thing. But I can't see the picture on my phone so when I got home, I open my laptop right away to check it. And there, I am really featured in Preview Magazine's facebook page. The moment I saw myself in the page, my heart is experiencing tachycardia. I feel so happy and proud that they fell in love with my outfit that I posted in StyleBible.ph My Style section. And it's very rare to see a blogger like me in their facebook page. I see Laureen Uy which is really a top blogger already, some other best dressed ladies, models, and celebrities only. See how lucky I am? I just feel so proud with this and I can't hide it. 

This inspires me more with blogging about my style and fashion interest. And I'm also thankful with my very talented and supportive photographer/sister Donna who took this photo of me. Without her, I can't have this. I still dream that one day, I will be one of their best dressed or maybe work with the Preview team.

PREVIEW 17th ANNIVERSARY ISSUE

PREVIEW JUNE 2012. The moment I saw Anne Curtis, Georgina Wilson, Solenn Heusaff, Isablelle Daza, and Liz Uy's video "Call Me Maybe" in YouTube that reached 800,000+ views in just a week. As I watched it, they were in a photo shoot and notice that they're all wearing Balenciaga Spring 2012 RTW. I knew its for Preview Magazine, where else right? 

This morning while browsing facebook, I saw them landed on Preview's 17th Anniversary Issue this June. The cover was beyond beautiful. Philippine's it-girls minus Bea soriano in just one magazine, who can't resist to buy one. I think even men would buy this issue because of them.

BANG! Charice on Preview

BANG! This is Philippines' Style Bible explosive before the year ends. No need for fireworks or firecrackers, Charice Pempengco really rocks this January-February 2012 cover for Preview Magazine. I decided to stop  buying this magazine a few months ago, but for this kind of cover, I think I really couldn't stop myself from getting my own copy of this issue. I love the colors that was used, so Barbie-ish.

Charice is not my favorite, but she amazed me of her talent. She is very famous around the world. With her first name, you already know who she is.

P.S.* I just noticed that there's something wrong with her left jaw. The corner of it is too sharp. Photoshop editing not finished yet?

Yesterday, I went to Manila to run some errands for school. But I need to go back again in Bicol at night.

Before riding the bus, I dropped by to Fully Booked to grab Preview Magazine April Ish. 

 I like this contribution by Lyca Puno, because I really like the Prada S/S 2011 collection. And I was surprised that Olivia&Fifth done something similar. CUTE!

Argh, I will have that dress soon. Magpapatahi na ako!!HAHA

BORGINA on Preview March 2011 Issue

OH EM GEE!! This is sooo HOT!! 

Yesterday, while walking in the mall and seeing magazine stands. My sister and I were so curious who will be the cover of PREVIEW magazine March 2011 issue.

And today, after logging in, my eyes dilated. HAHA!! Of course, this is Georgina Wilson & Borgy Manotoc? Why I like it more is, they are wearing leopard print accessories.

As you know, I'm a LEOPARD PRINT addict. 

So excited to grab a copy of this issue. :D
