PASTA BOLOGNESE

I am a certified foodie, if you're following me on instagram you will know that I posts a lot of food. It's either food from outside or food that I cook at home. Every once in a while, I get into the mood on preparing or cooking a good meal, serve it with my beautiful plates, and eat it very fast. Because cooking takes so much time than eating and washing dishes after.

I usually cook pasta, because it is very easy to make. I am a nursing graduate but I am also trying hard chef. Just by googling, I managed to make this plating. Yes I am the one who made this! I was inspired by some food blogger, food enthusiasts on instagram, and most of all food pictures from Pinterest and pepper.ph where everything looks so perfect and yummy. Aside from being a style and fashion blogging, I also want to be a food stylist like Mylene Chung. Maybe in the future, I will have a very nice kitchen in my own house with a cupboard full of pretty and signature plates.
Just don't forget to always eat and drink in style. Enjoy you summer everyone! :)

GRADUATION DAY

Dress: Zara TRF / Shoes: Zara TRF / Bag: Prada / Necklace: Forever 21 / HMUA: Charisma Vergara

Hola amiga, it's already summer! I know it's been 3 months since my last post. I can't believe it, 1 month hiatus is just too long and I took 3 months. I want to apologize and there are some reasons behind those missing in action moments. Maybe you know it already? Here is the fruit of my labor, I am officially out of college. Hell yeah!

College/University days for me was not that perfect happy fun fun because I got delayed for more than a year. I encountered so many failures, problems, and disappointments. I transferred school twice, adjusted to new environments, met new people, gained new friends. But it didn't stop me, there's always hope inside me. I know in my heart that I can graduate! I am so thankful to my family and friends who are very supportive to my situation. They always inspire, encourage, and enlighten me in everything. I am very blessed. :)
And here it is, I am now a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and future Registered Nurse of course.

Our graduation was held in Philippine International Convention Center which was still very beautiful and picturesque. I called Mama, Papa, and I as "Team Canary Yellow", obviously we are all wearing yellow and we didn't talk about it. Thank you to my sister who took all the nice photos for my very special and memorable day.

CONGRATULATIONS to Batch 2014!!! xx

BAROQUE

Top: Mango / Skirt: Zara TRF / Heels: Mango / Lipstick: MAC Lady Danger

Photos by Donna de Belen

These are my two favorites in my wardrobe right now. The white baroque top that makes me feel clean and "mabango". And the black flair skirt that makes me feel girly and sexy. Since they are my faves, I wore them on a special day which is Christmas.
I spent time with my whole family at the de Belen's side. Ate a lot of food, as you can see my tummy was so big in the photos, we took it right after eating lunch. I can't help myself, the kare-kare and hamonada prepared by my lola is so delicious. I hope you guys also had a wonderful and merry Christmas just like mine. There's a lot of things we should be thankful.

By the way, I got the top just recently on SALE. I'm in long hunt for this kind of top. I don't know why, but I can say that it's really beautiful and very classy. Plus it's white, so you can pair it with everything.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! <3

TENNIS SKIRT

Top: OntheDot OnlineShop / Tennis Skirt: Vintage / Heels: Mango / Sunnies: Sunnies by Charlie (Zalora) /
Watch: Michael Kors

I'm browsing instagram everyday and Martine Cajucom never failed to amaze me with her own fashion style and photos. While checking her photos earlier today, I noticed that she's wearing a lot of vintagey pleated skirts, also known as tennis skirts. If  you guys didn't know, I'm a frustrated tennis player, seriously! I do clinics when I was still in grade school until early high school but didn't pursue it for some reason. And I still adore Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams. They're great players and stylish at the same time.
But Martine was really the one who inspired me today. So I raided my old closet, looked for my baby blue pleated skirt back in high school, it was actually a hand me down from my Aunt way back then and thank God it's adjustable, and here I am channeling Martine Cajucom wearing tennis skirt. She's really my peg now, can't you see I'm also wearing her brand Sunnies by Charlie that I got from Zalora Philippines

Please expect to see me wearing this skirt more often and wishing to have more vintage tennis skirts soon. I need more kinds and in different colors. :)

xx
