COMME des FUCKDOWN

After 9 months of lusting for this Comme des Fuckdown snapback (check my August mood board last year here), my sister and I finally found it in Bangkok. My sister spotted it at the mall and our eyes really dilated. With no hesitation, we bought it right away then wore it immediately the next day.

On our fourth day there or what we call last day in Bangkok, we went to Wat Pho, yes another Buddhist temple aka Temple of the Reclining Buddha. This temple was the most beautiful of all we have been to, it was so big, everything is symmetrical. The architecture and every details is amazing. One tip I can give you is when visiting some temples, make sure to wear clothes that have sleeves and bottoms that cover your entire legs especially girls. Since Bangkok's summer weather is so hot hot hot! It's really unavoidable to wear sleeveless and shorts, so it's better to be ready and bring cover ups like light cardigans. But for those who are not aware and clueless visitors, they let them borrow some robes and ethnic floor length skirts before entering. But for hygienic purposes it's better to have your own. Also, Wat Pho is adjacent to Grand Palace, too bad we are running out of time so we didn't experience the place, just outside the gate.

While everyone is in Boracay during labor day week, here I am soaking under the sun of Bangkok, Thailand with the temperature of 36° to be exact. But before anything else, I want to greet you "Sawasdee ka!" and I'm back in blogging. I traveled with my whole family by the way, from May 2-5.

I will share with you first my #ootds, then next is the photo diary of every single day. :) So this is what I wore on our first day there. As you can see I'm wearing a hat. I'm the person who's so lazy bringing an umbrella, so that hat is really perfect for my summer getaway. It was not just an accessory to make me look more chic, but it really helps me to cover and protect my face from the sizzling sun that grilled my upper extremities a little bit.

P.S  Never mind my title above, I'm just feeling a little cray cray today. "Kapunka."

PEOPLE WATCHING

These photos was taken just in front of our house, I mean on the other side of the road. My friend was struggling taking pictures because there was a lot of tricycles and people passing by. People are looking at me thinking who is this girl wearing something weird? Yes this outfit is mega weird here in the province. But the photo shoot must go on.  Thanks to my friend who took all the photos. He doesn't want to mention his name for now. 
Let's move to my outfit. My style for this post was inspired by my new favorite blogger Christing of Fashion Hedonism. And she's based in Hong Kong so I think she's Asian, even she doesn't look like an Asian. Her style is kinda grungy. I really like her because she looks effortless but still very stylish. And oooh Christing reminds me of my friend Kath who I really love so that's an additional point.

YELLOW AVALANCHE

This is what I wore today. My latest buy from ukay!! Yes, I got it from ukay-ukay last weekend. This yellow knitted top is irresistible, it is so bright just like the sun. Even Kuya Kim said summer was over, I still feel its scorching. The top was a little bit see through so I wore a floral with lace bra from AVON. I saw this one from Vern Enciso's blog A ShoeTale and fell in love with it. I look for the nearest outlet and bought it right away. Colors and prints never fails me and give me happiness.

Beijing Day 2

 Forbidden City. Arghh! The place is so so so big. It's impossible for us to see the whole place, I think you need 2 days to make it possible. You can really feel the Dynasty vibe in this area. The architecture is amazing and beautiful.

 If you will hold that gold buttons on the gate, it was cold. I think everything was cold in that place except for the wood.

 The only place in the Palace where you can see trees and flowers. Leslie (our tour guide) said that it was the garden, where the emperor lounge with his mistress while sipping tea.

 Had dinner at McDonald's. I love their spicy chicken fillet burger. I feel so hot while eating eat. Nom nom! Btw, the fries bucket have nutrition facts at the side. Philippines should do that too, so people will be aware on how many calories are there in their medium or large fries.

Those are the exotic foods! Gaaah, I didn't try them. NO WAY! I don't wanna eat scorpions or seahorse.

Bunny Play

Another Sunday outfit post. This is what I wore for church so I'll look decent, not revealing too much skin.

I saw this Tommy Hilfiger button up sitting in my closet. Just got it from my Aunt who's based in America already. Since I never worn it for a very long time, I gave it a chance. It's a classic green stripes so I'll keep it forever. I know I can wear them over and over again.

I paired it with a denim pants, belt from ukay-ukay, CMG sandals, Balenciaga bag and I want to introduce to you my playboy bunny silicone case. My favorite! Say hello baby. :)

Style Grenade X M&DJ

Last weekend, we spent our Sunday in Karl Edward's newest Bazaar "Great Deal @ Centris"  at Elements Tent, Eton Centris. My sister Joyce and I went there to help M&DJ, a clothing brand owned by my Kuya (DJ) and her wifey (M), that is why they named it like that, their first name initials. They sell super stylish clothes for  female at very reasonable price. They have a lot of animal print tops, cute prints dainty dresses, and of course the fair isle cardigan, etc.

I know that I'll be a tindera for a day, but I still wore something stylish. I really love this outfit because of the colors. I think this blouse and skirt are soul mates. They really look good together. The top is from Kate Spade, if you will look closely, there's a lot of candies in different colors. And the skirt is from ukay-ukay, other says it looks like a table cloth or place mat. But I love the color and the fit on me. Shoes is from Prima Donna. :)
