TENNIS SKIRT

I'm browsing instagram everyday and Martine Cajucom never failed to amaze me with her own fashion style and photos. While checking her photos earlier today, I noticed that she's wearing a lot of vintagey pleated skirts, also known as tennis skirts. If  you guys didn't know, I'm a frustrated tennis player, seriously! I do clinics when I was still in grade school until early high school but didn't pursue it for some reason. And I still adore Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams. They're great players and stylish at the same time.
But Martine was really the one who inspired me today. So I raided my old closet, looked for my baby blue pleated skirt back in high school, it was actually a hand me down from my Aunt way back then and thank God it's adjustable, and here I am channeling Martine Cajucom wearing tennis skirt. She's really my peg now, can't you see I'm also wearing her brand Sunnies by Charlie that I got from Zalora Philippines

Please expect to see me wearing this skirt more often and wishing to have more vintage tennis skirts soon. I need more kinds and in different colors. :)

CANARY YELLOW

I had a hard time in choosing what to wear that day. It was so hard to mix and match when almost all of your clothes are not with you. I'm still here in our town Daet, its just a small town without malls, so I can't find any beautiful new clothes here. Maybe online shopping is the only choice which I don't usually do. But there's a lot of thrifted shops here where you can find one of a kind pieces, just like the skirt I'm wearing above. I found it a long time ago though, last year I think when color blocking is still in. Pleated canary yellow skirt, love the color.

I cannot find any top from my luggage that will look good in this skirt, so I ran to my brothers bag and saw this Plaid Wrangler button down. Dark tones that will contrast my plain skirt.

A Day in San Beda

I was invited to give a talk in San Beda College-Manila last Wedneday, together with Alexander "Troy" Sitosta of Lowe + Partners (I don't have a picture with him, I got shy!). My topic was about how to market yourself. Like how young entrepreneurs should dress up in order to be taken seriously plus proper grooming and etiquette. This was my second time already, the first was in UP Diliman. I really enjoyed the day with Bedans, it was like "baklaan" moment.

Thank you San Beda for inviting me. I can't remove my smile, I feel so proud until now.
And thank you for my sister for taking all the photos. :)
