WEDGE SNEAKERS

Sundate! It's been a long time since the last time I had a date with my sister Donna plus her bff Melissa. I love spending time with them because they are fun to be with and will always give you a positive vibe. There was no dull moment earlier seriously. We have decided to spent our Sunday at Greenbelt for some change. Watching "The Perks of being a Wallflower" is our number one priority on going to the mall. If you have read and appreciated the book, I think you will like the movie also. The author Stephen Chbosky was also the director so no wonder it was faithful to the novel. Quoted from Mel!! :)
Then what's good after shedding a tear and seeing the movie? There was a free popsicle waiting for us outside the cinema. Yey!

I hope you guys had a great Sunday too!

And I want to share a favorite quote I got from the movie and tell me what can you say about it.
"We accept the love we think we deserve."

KEEP IT COOL

Sorry for a little explosion of photos. This was the start of my day, attended mass at UST before anything else. Actually my Sunday was a very long day and fun fun fun for me and my siblings. Mass then had lunch at Army Navy in Tomas Morato, it was my first time to eat there by the way, I enjoyed their burger and the oh so yummy Libertea (iced tea). Then grocery shopping in Landmark, Trinoma. After that we chilled at my brother's pad then went to Robinsons Magnolia for dinner. What a day right? And take note, I was wearing those platform heels all day til night. Thank God I didn't fall on the ground. I feel very TIRED because of that "tiis-ganda" effect! I hope you understand my situation and I can't keep the story longer.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN

God saves, I spend. Maybe you already saw that top on my August Mood Board. I really have that top, bought it when I was in Manila. It was my first muscle shirt I guess?  I just wanted to try the trend. There's a lot of it inside Forever21 SM North, I'm choosing between 2 designs that time. But this cute "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN" capture my eyes and heart. I decided to get this because of the cute ribbons with union jack print. Plus the fabric is really soft.
I paired it with my denim cropped shorts for a laid back vibe and a motorcycle brown jacket. It's not leather though but it really do the work to make the whole look more rocker chic.

BALENCIAGA INSPIRED

Yes dolls, dreams do come true. This outfit is always on my mind since last month, I just can't find a time when and where should I wear this. With this asymmetrical top, high on the waist short shorts and exaggerated boxy jacket. Have you already guess what collection from Spring 2012 RTW inspired me? Yes it's Balenciaga. This is my version of runway to real way. What I love about this is the deep color and textures. You can check the complete collection in style.com here. And maybe you have already seen the collection wore by the it girls in Preview 17th Anniversary cover.

METAL DETECTOR

If I'll pass a metal detector in airports or any malls, the machine will surely beep loudly because of my accessories. I'm minimalist when it comes to accessorizing because I think it doesn't look good on me, but I stepped out of my comfort zone to try these and enhance my plain lace and denim outfit. I hope it works!
I'm loving my hair in pony tail now. I use Goody Ouchless elastic band so it will be clean and sleek. I feel more comfortable with it or in a high bun. When my hair is down then the weather is  so so so hot, for sure I'll look like a "bruha". I can't achieve the soft curls anymore because of the weather.
Lace top was from my mom but I think its thrifted. Old Navy cropped shorts. The semi bib-collar necklace I bought from a friend Jamie Lou, visit her online shop in facebook here. Bangle from Forever21. Tassel earrings was given by my friend from Australia.

MAGENTA PRINT CULTURE

Hi guys! Have you noticed my new head banner? Scroll up! I have decided to change it to something more classic and formal. If you've been visiting my blog, my banner before was like teeny bopper because of its pink color. I'm 22 now so I think its more appropriate even though other said that age is just a number. Hope you guys like it.

So here we go to my outfit now. I'm wearing a button up top that I got from my mom's closet. The beautiful prints is so undeniable. I mixed it with my Magenta Faded Glory shorts that I bought from ukay the other day. Plus H&M Tassel Earrings.

Jose Panganiban Love

These photos was taken in Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte. That place was very memorable to me. When we were still young, my siblings and cousins always go there and play. We called it "Tabing Dagat", It's a very peaceful and calm water, where you can just sit, chat and watch the sunset. I will surely never forget the memories that I had in this place. True happiness I can say. My whole family from the side of my mother can testify that.

What I wore from this post was the top that I got from PROMOD. Remember the giveaway that I won from Lissa Kahayon? Click HERE if not. This neon top got my attention from the rest of the collection because the color is shocking plus the cut is not normal, the rest are so plain. Thanks Lissa Kahayon and Promod!! :)

A Day in San Beda

I was invited to give a talk in San Beda College-Manila last Wedneday, together with Alexander "Troy" Sitosta of Lowe + Partners (I don't have a picture with him, I got shy!). My topic was about how to market yourself. Like how young entrepreneurs should dress up in order to be taken seriously plus proper grooming and etiquette. This was my second time already, the first was in UP Diliman. I really enjoyed the day with Bedans, it was like "baklaan" moment.

Thank you San Beda for inviting me. I can't remove my smile, I feel so proud until now.
And thank you for my sister for taking all the photos. :)

I can do the Pretty Girl Rock

This was last Sunday, had mass at UST again.
While dressing up before the mass, and thinking what to wear. I suddenly feel like I can't go out anymore without print or any pop of color in my clothes. So I pulled this plaid button down top (this one reminds me of DSQUARED) and stripes skirt from People are People.

Thanks to my official photographer, Donna de Belen. Follow her on Tumblr. Click HERE

And we had our dinner at Max's Restaurant, SM Manila after.
