FEELING BLUE

Chambray Button Down: H&M / Origami Skirt: Apartment 8 / Jacket: Thrifted / Clogs: CMG

Photos by Donna de Belen

First of all, I want to say thank you to my sister who spare me a little of her time just to snap some photos of my outfit, despite of her busy schedule in studying. I really appreciated it. I love you!

I am glad that I have something to post on my blog today because I wasn't able to blog last week. There's a therapeutic feeling when I write in here, so I really wish I can do this more often. I was just feeling blue this past few weeks because of many reasons. Maybe I just need someone to talk to, someone to be with that I can talk about my thoughts and ideas. Someone that will inspire me and encourage me in good ways. Communication is really important right? But it's really hard for us to express what we really feel inside especially on those people that you're not close with. Of course there are some people that I trust and discuss everything that's on my mind, but sometimes those people are so busy and they have no more time with you. I'm trying my best to understand, so please bare with me also my dear readers with this drama-rama of mine.

Anyway, let's end the emo part and proceed about my outfit of the day. Today which is Sunday, I wore this for a late lunch date with my sister at Teresita's in Tomas Morato.  Teresita's is also owned by the Razon's, so they're almost similar to each other. We suddenly miss their best Kare-Kare in the city with a very affordable price. I can't prove it to you in words and I didn't take a picture of it too, but it's a must try! I swear. :)

YELLOW AVALANCHE

This is what I wore today. My latest buy from ukay!! Yes, I got it from ukay-ukay last weekend. This yellow knitted top is irresistible, it is so bright just like the sun. Even Kuya Kim said summer was over, I still feel its scorching. The top was a little bit see through so I wore a floral with lace bra from AVON. I saw this one from Vern Enciso's blog A ShoeTale and fell in love with it. I look for the nearest outlet and bought it right away. Colors and prints never fails me and give me happiness.

I hope you like this simple outfit guys. :)

METAL DETECTOR

If I'll pass a metal detector in airports or any malls, the machine will surely beep loudly because of my accessories. I'm minimalist when it comes to accessorizing because I think it doesn't look good on me, but I stepped out of my comfort zone to try these and enhance my plain lace and denim outfit. I hope it works!
I'm loving my hair in pony tail now. I use Goody Ouchless elastic band so it will be clean and sleek. I feel more comfortable with it or in a high bun. When my hair is down then the weather is  so so so hot, for sure I'll look like a "bruha". I can't achieve the soft curls anymore because of the weather.
Lace top was from my mom but I think its thrifted. Old Navy cropped shorts. The semi bib-collar necklace I bought from a friend Jamie Lou, visit her online shop in facebook here. Bangle from Forever21. Tassel earrings was given by my friend from Australia.

Jose Panganiban Love

These photos was taken in Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte. That place was very memorable to me. When we were still young, my siblings and cousins always go there and play. We called it "Tabing Dagat", It's a very peaceful and calm water, where you can just sit, chat and watch the sunset. I will surely never forget the memories that I had in this place. True happiness I can say. My whole family from the side of my mother can testify that.

What I wore from this post was the top that I got from PROMOD. Remember the giveaway that I won from Lissa Kahayon? Click HERE if not. This neon top got my attention from the rest of the collection because the color is shocking plus the cut is not normal, the rest are so plain. Thanks Lissa Kahayon and Promod!! :)

TWENTYTWO

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. Additional one year to my age last month. I turned 22 last April 22, 2012. Sorry for the late post.  We had a problem with our internet connection recently. But I'm very thankful that I'm still breathing and kicking.
We celebrated my birthday at Chef Mama, a restaurant in Daet, Camarines Norte, same place with my 21st birthday, I blogged about it last year. If you wanna see the difference with me from 2011 to 2012 birthday. CLICK HERE. You the one to judge. :)
Here is what I am telling you from my last post SPECIAL. The skirt that I bought from H&M Conscious Collection. The weather that day was torturing. So I just paired the skirt with my so old plain white tank top. I think I need a new one.
It was just a small family gathering. Last year my Kuya Joman wasn't there. This year year we became bigger but no Kuya Jason of (Runway2Reality.com) and Ate Cocoy. Sayang!! The food was great, I swear! With a very reasonable price. You can check their facebook site HERE.

Fairy God Mudra

FAIRY TALE. That was the theme of her party. I attended Jamie Lou's birthday, as she celebrated her 18th year in the world. Yeah, I still attend debuts, even I'm 21. Actually, her kuya was my classmate in high school.
Before this invitation came, she already announced her party in facebook. I got really excited, because it has a theme, that means I can dress up differently. Not just like simple cocktail dresses.
I went with my sister and we are both in 18 fairies. I gave her a polka dot dress from M&DJ. If you are curious what does it looks like. Click HERE. I choosed that dress because Jamie Lou reminds me of Tricia Gosingtian. Naks! She also have a tumblr account. Follow her. http://jamielouborile.tumblr.com/

So lets move to the party proper.
Kenneth (Jamie's kuya), Burft, Pauie and Me
My sister Donna and Melissa
Corset top, SM Department Store. Floral Skirt, Ukay-Ukay. Clogs, CMG. Bag, Old Navy.

Prints + Nightingale

I attended my friend Melissa's late birthday celebration last Sunday at Chilli's, Tomas Morato wearing this. Print on print is my favorite right now. As a person like me who doesn't love to accessorize (or "lazy to pile some accessories"). This is a perfect pair, I feel alive on it!
And oh, check out my new handbag. It's a faux Givenchy Nightingale! I really want this bag because of its classic and simple design. I've been seeing it on Hollywood celebrities hand like Olsen twins, Ashley Tisdale, Khloe Kardashian, Nicole Richie, etc. BONGGA!!
( Blue Sheer Ukay-ukay top, Forever21 Skirt, CMG Clogs, Givenchy Nightingale Bag)

And this is what happened next in Chili's. BUSOG!! Thanks for the treat Mel. :) Belated happy birthday. I miss you a lot. xx
NOM.NOM.NOM.

Happy blogging, I really miss doing this. I hope I can be updated like before.

Fast & Furious 5

Finally, after a very long time. My sister came back from Bicol, I missed her to the maxx. I was all alone in our room for the whole summer, and it wasn't good. And most of all, I'm MIA, no updates, sorry guys. Because she's my photographer, she brought the camera with her. I'm glad that she's back, more happiness when we are together. And more posts! Promise. :)

As a celebration of her come back. We decided to spent time together and go out. We had watch Fast & Furious 5. And it was so COOOL!!

And this is what I wore in Trinoma
 H&M Knitted Long Sleeves
American Eagle Denim Cut Offs
CMG Leather Sandals
Multicolor Rubber Bangles from Singapore

And we had early dinner at Fish & Co. Yum yum!! :)

TWENTYONE

Yesterday was a Good Friday, but it doesn't mean that I can't be happy or celebrate my special day. We celebrated my 21st birthday in Chef Mama. It's a newly opened restaurant here in Daet, Camarines Norte, Bicol Region.
The place was so beautiful! We seated at the lagoon pavilions. Its peaceful and relaxing.
Kuya Jason and Ate Cocoy doing some wacky jump shot when we arrived.

Order time!! The menu book was so big, big like a wedding album. It was full of delicious dishes, and the pictures will make you crave and you will be delighted to go back and try the other viands.
Here are some of what we ordered. Baked Tahong, Big Pla-pla, Cordon Bleu, Tinumok, etc. Their prices are very reasonable. I'm surely will go back in there.

BLOW TIME. I'm maarte, I want a cake for my birthday. Sayang ang wish noh! I had decadent chocolate cake from Caramel Bakeshop.
Guess what I wished for. :)
