DIY Floral Sunglasses

The first time I saw this photo on the internet, I know to myself that I want it and I need to get it. I've been eyeing on this floral sunglasses or Dolce & Gabbana's Baroque-inspired for months now, searching the stores in world wide web but I can't find any. Mister Google only gave me DIY results. So, why not DIBM (do-it-by-myself), right?
But its not that easyyyyy. At first I didn't know where I can buy those ceramic flowers. I visited all the stores that possibly selling that thingy in our small town. While roaming Daet, suddenly a visual popped on my mind, I knew where I can find them. I went to an accessories store, and there you go I got some earrings with ceramic flowers on it.

You'll need:
  • a pair of sunglasses
  • ceramic flowers (mine was detached from earrings)
  • popsicle stick (mine was tongue depressor, I hope you know why haha)
  • toothpick
  • super glue

Start by squeezing a small amount of super glue onto the popsicle stick. Because it drys quickly.
Using the tip of the toothpick,  apply a little onto the back of the flower of your choice. Press the flower firmly and hold it in place until the glue sets. I started at the outer corner of my sunglasses then add another inwards.
When the front flower sets, unfold the sunglasses and add some more at the side or arms. Repeat on the other side and allow to dry for a couple of hours.

Your floral sunglasses are ready to wear!!!

My BlackBerry Gelaskin Design

Here's my entry to the BMS x BlackBerry: Design You Own Gelaskin  Contest

I really love Dolce & Gabanna S/S 2012,  so I got inspired by their beautiful and rich scarf prints design and decided to use this as BlackBerry's skin. I think it's really chic, classic and clean. Triple C!  Great for the summer since I can't leave home without my BlackBerry, but I will stay stylish with this kind of design.

I hope Laureen will like it so I can win the new Torch 9860. *crossed fingers*

Luxurious Scarf Prints

SCARF PRINT. Heat just kicked in again and this is the time of  playful summer dressing. I got inspired by D&G Spring/Summer 2012.  Where they transformed  all their beautiful scarf into glamorous dresses.
The top was hiding on my closet for 2 years now, thank God it's back on trend and guess what, its thrifted. And the scarf that I used as head wrap was my mom's. I'm planning to look for more scarf  or with print on it, so I can try more styles like skirt or halter tops.

Thank you to my sister Joyce for the photos and helping me wrapping the scarf on my head.
