Beijing Day 3

This was our last whole day stay in Beijing. No more tour guide for this. So we did this on our own. Thanks for the map and to my Kuya who can speak a little of Mandarin. Sunday was spent in Temple of Heaven and shopping. Checked out some stores and brands that we don't have here in Philippines. And bought some pasalubong also.
My younger sister Donna. Channeling Alexa Chung but end up like Sussie from Style Bubble HAHA
Kuya Joman loving Karl Lagerfeld. Don't you love his total look? Very "Athlethenique" :)

On our way to Joy City that surely gave more joy to our faces. I bought my outfit for my birthday here. Since my birthday is April and summer, I bought something cool to my body and to others eyes.
Oh, we also tried Happy Lemon. And it was cheap. I think it was half the price compare to our price here.

Beijing Day 2

Forbidden City. Arghh! The place is so so so big. It's impossible for us to see the whole place, I think you need 2 days to make it possible. You can really feel the Dynasty vibe in this area. The architecture is amazing and beautiful.
If you will hold that gold buttons on the gate, it was cold. I think everything was cold in that place except for the wood.
The only place in the Palace where you can see trees and flowers. Leslie (our tour guide) said that it was the garden, where the emperor lounge with his mistress while sipping tea.
Had dinner at McDonald's. I love their spicy chicken fillet burger. I feel so hot while eating eat. Nom nom! Btw, the fries bucket have nutrition facts at the side. Philippines should do that too, so people will be aware on how many calories are there in their medium or large fries.
Those are the exotic foods! Gaaah, I didn't try them. NO WAY! I don't wanna eat scorpions or seahorse.

Luxurious Scarf Prints

SCARF PRINT. Heat just kicked in again and this is the time of  playful summer dressing. I got inspired by D&G Spring/Summer 2012.  Where they transformed  all their beautiful scarf into glamorous dresses.
The top was hiding on my closet for 2 years now, thank God it's back on trend and guess what, its thrifted. And the scarf that I used as head wrap was my mom's. I'm planning to look for more scarf  or with print on it, so I can try more styles like skirt or halter tops.

Thank you to my sister Joyce for the photos and helping me wrapping the scarf on my head.

1ST DAY: Touchdown Singapore

I travel to Singapore with my mom and Joyce.
Oh yeah I'm so excited, April 9, our fist day.
Outside the Durian like theatre called Esplanade.
They have so many beautiful architectures in Singapore.

Check out my sister's very classic Sonia Rykiel quilted backpack.

After a long long day of walking in River Trail, I felt so much pain on my legs and feet. My shoes was not that comfortable, maybe because its new. But I really enjoyed the sight seeing. I love their solid block ice cream with biscuit, and I wanna try it again. And I got a lot of photos, thanks for the good light sun.

3rd Day: Hometown Tour

On the third day, we just decided to go around Daet, Camarines Norte.
Joyce and I want them to see and experience the place we grew up to.
Our town is just small, so its kinda easy to see the important places like "Unang bantayog ni Rizal, our provincial capitol, etc".

But before we start the sight seeing, we need to load up ourselves with energy drink, 1st day to 2nd day was tiring. And this tour needs a lot of walking.

First stop, our provincial capitol. Haha, I know I look like a tourista too. Feeling lang! You knew me.
 Me, Sandra and Onin
Then to the first ever bantayog ni Rizal
After doing this hippie thing, we brought them to our school CNSC-LHS, then we showed to Sandra the NOVO store. She didn't have any idea what was Novo all about because she grew up in Manila. So we said, it was like Zara, where you can find variety of jeans and basic shirts. LOL! :))

After all the walks and goofing around on some stores. We got tired and hungry, it means eating time. We had our merienda at KSarap. It's one of the favorite restaurant in Daet. The place is cool and refreshing. There are sounds of running water and a lot of plants in the surroundings.
See, the light was very good.
This is Onin's camera. I want a handy cam too!

2nd Day: Camarines Sur

Our next destination? Camarines Sur! One and a half hour drive from our place Daet, Camarines Norte.

Before going to CWC or CamSur Watersports Complex. We dropped by at the Basilica Minore de Peñafrancia, to see INA. Every September, thousands of devotees make a pilgrimage to this city for the Peñafrancia Festival.
 Outside of the church

CWC TIME
Not that excited because it was my 2nd time already. We just brought Onin and Sandra to experience the famous wakeboarding park.
Wooh! That was me. :P

I still feel some mild body pain until now. But its all worth it! CWC was FUN FUN FUN.
