NEW BALANCE 574

Cropped Top: Forever21 / Jacket: Thrifted / Jeans: Levi's / Sneakers: New Balance 574 / Watch: Michael Kors

Here's what I'm telling you on my previous post last week. Yeahhhh, I already got my New Balance 574 and I'm loving and rocking it. They are so comfy that I wish every shoe that I own will give me that comfy feeling.
This was the first time that I splurged on a sneakers that was not meant for running or training purposes. I'm just planning to wear it just for walking, malling, or maybe travelling somewhere down there but never for jogging. They are the precious one in my shoe collection right now and I'm praying that every time that I'm wearing this pair it won't rain. Oh please!
And by the way, if you have just notice anything on my hair. My hair was slashed by Bunny, my hair stylist. Haha, just kidding!

Since it's Manila day tomorrow, happy long weekend everyone.

BLACK WHITE VERTICAL STRIPES

Top: OntheDot OnlineShop / Skirt: Forever 21 / Heels: Mango / Bag: Celine / Watch: Michael Kors / Sunnies: Divisoria

Congratulations to my sister Donna who graduated last Tuesday at University of Santo Tomas with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Managerial Accounting. We are so proud of you baby! Ang galing galing mo talaga. Yeah, she's the bunso (youngest) in the family and the baby is now a monster, right?

This is what I wore during my sister's graduation ceremony. I just want to wear something simple so I choose my new basic black and white Zara inspired top and it really compliment her uber chic red dress from Miss Selfridge. I will be her photographer that day so I keep my heels low with this 2 inches nude Mango heels.

TEXTURES

Do I look like I have a bipolar disorder in my pictures? First photo was like a crazy woman dancing on the street, then second photo was flat affect stare, and the third was just a normal smiling lady. Maybe I'm just so lively and gay today, because after a month of not posting, here I am again coming back because my sister slash photographer just arrived in Manila. *goofy dance*

Let's talk about my outfit for this hotty hot Sunday. Since my outfit have no prints, let's make it all about textures. That's me, if no prints, you should have any texture in your outfit. If you will focus on the sleeves of my top on the fourth photo, you will notice that it has a micro pleated fabric, and that was the reason I bought it last week, and I just got it in SM Department Store on sale. I paired it with my old textured skirt, I don't know what the texture or design is called, but more of like swirled ruffles. You can see me wearing it on lookbook.nu here, the first time I wore that skirt, that was 2010 and I didn't have this blog yet. Then lastly, I felt like Kate Middleton after adding that medalion looking necklace.

Hoping to blog consistently every week again. I miss this kind of moment, seriously!

TAYLOR TOMASI HILL INSPIRED

Hearing mass is my number one priority on Sunday and next is blogging. I only blog once a week right now because of my busy schedule, plus my sister/photographer have no time for me also during her schooldays. I understand her situation because it's their "hell week" or the last 2 weeks before the semester ends. Good luck on your final exams sister!

I felt so uninspired yesterday and cannot think of any outfit to wear. You know the "you have nothing to wear" feeling? That's what I felt from afternoon til night. But I don't wanna miss the only day that me and sister are free to do it. I didn't give up so I was in front of my computer the whole afternoon looking for pegs and inspirations. Until I saw my favorite Taylor Tomasi-Hill wearing a military green pants and printed button down. TING! Just imagine a bulb lighted beside my head.  Thank God! There you go, I look for this pants sitting on my closet for two years now, seriously. I really love colors especially jewel tones rather than neon or pastel, so I paired it with my favorite bright blue top. And as you can see I tucked my pants under my ankle straps again.

That's all for now and I hope you guys had a blessed sunny Sunday too. :)

KEEP IT COOL

Sorry for a little explosion of photos. This was the start of my day, attended mass at UST before anything else. Actually my Sunday was a very long day and fun fun fun for me and my siblings. Mass then had lunch at Army Navy in Tomas Morato, it was my first time to eat there by the way, I enjoyed their burger and the oh so yummy Libertea (iced tea). Then grocery shopping in Landmark, Trinoma. After that we chilled at my brother's pad then went to Robinsons Magnolia for dinner. What a day right? And take note, I was wearing those platform heels all day til night. Thank God I didn't fall on the ground. I feel very TIRED because of that "tiis-ganda" effect! I hope you understand my situation and I can't keep the story longer.

Bunny Play

Another Sunday outfit post. This is what I wore for church so I'll look decent, not revealing too much skin.
I saw this Tommy Hilfiger button up sitting in my closet. Just got it from my Aunt who's based in America already. Since I never worn it for a very long time, I gave it a chance. It's a classic green stripes so I'll keep it forever. I know I can wear them over and over again.
I paired it with a denim pants, belt from ukay-ukay, CMG sandals, Balenciaga bag and I want to introduce to you my playboy bunny silicone case. My favorite! Say hello baby. :)

Luxurious Scarf Prints

SCARF PRINT. Heat just kicked in again and this is the time of  playful summer dressing. I got inspired by D&G Spring/Summer 2012.  Where they transformed  all their beautiful scarf into glamorous dresses.
The top was hiding on my closet for 2 years now, thank God it's back on trend and guess what, its thrifted. And the scarf that I used as head wrap was my mom's. I'm planning to look for more scarf  or with print on it, so I can try more styles like skirt or halter tops.

Thank you to my sister Joyce for the photos and helping me wrapping the scarf on my head.

I can do the Pretty Girl Rock

This was last Sunday, had mass at UST again.
While dressing up before the mass, and thinking what to wear. I suddenly feel like I can't go out anymore without print or any pop of color in my clothes. So I pulled this plaid button down top (this one reminds me of DSQUARED) and stripes skirt from People are People.

Thanks to my official photographer, Donna de Belen. Follow her on Tumblr. Click HERE

And we had our dinner at Max's Restaurant, SM Manila after.

Heels to City

Last Sunday, and it was time to dress up again. Sunday is the only day I'm not in white uniform (what medical students usually wear).
So, I'm really excited with the summer season, and it was sunny that day, I decided to wear this bright top from Plains&Prints that I got from their sale, pair with my Paperdoll skinnies and buckle up in my new CMG platforms. Haha!! I felt like I was in LA la land again. :P

Ofcourse, my cute sister! Wore my new heart shaped-sunnies because it was the day before Valentines.

After mass, we headed up in Trinoma Mall and had lunch at our favorite restaurant, NORTH PARK! As usual, we ordered Chow Mien (Guisado), Broccoli Flowers w/ Oyster sauce, Boneless Honey Lemon Chicken, Sweet and Sour Lapu-Lapu and Yang Chow rice.
And did a little shopping and grocery for what we need in our apartment.
Time to buy a new shower net sponge. The pink ones captured my eyes. :)

I like to get them all!! Because I have a thing with cute small stuff even if it's non sense. But these, I think are all useful. Don't worry, I didn't get any, cause my Mama will just get mad at me.

Hope everyone had a good day yesterday like mine.
HAPPY CARDIAC DAY EVERYONE!! ;-)

Sunny Day Sunday

Because it was Sunny like LA, I was inspired by my favorite reality show star, Lauren Conrad. I love her and I really like her style! That's why I'm always watching The Hills back then. She is so chic as always.

Here's what I wear today in church.

UST is now celebrating their 400 years of unending grace

After hearing the mass, we had our lunch at Shakey's near our apartment.

That is my sister Donna. Starving and irritated that time. EASY!!

And we bought bibingka in Andoks for merienda before going home.
(yum yum :D)

I wish my Mama and Papa are here in Manila, I miss them. But they have to stay in our place (Bicol) for work. Hope you guys had a good Sunday too!

xx -D
